The goal is simple:
Bring clarity to complexity - create structure around creative work - and make sure great ideas actually happen.
Our Approach
Merrit is a creative operations and production studio partnering with founder-led brands and creative businesses to turn ambitious ideas into clear, executable plans-and then help bring them to life.
We work in the space between idea and execution.
When a founder knows where they want to go but needs someone to organize the moving pieces, create the roadmap, coordinate the people involved, anticipate what's coming next, and keep the work moving forward, Merrit steps in.
Our work can range from creating the operational structure behind a growing business to leading the production of a specific launch, campaign, event, photoshoot, collaboration, or new initiative.

The Creative Operations Intensive is designed for founders and creative teams who know something in their business isn't working as smoothly as it should-but need help stepping back, seeing the full picture, and determining what needs to change.
Maybe the business has grown quickly. Projects are living in too many places. Roles and responsibilities are unclear. The founder is carrying too much information in their head. Or there’s a major initiative ahead and no clear roadmap for getting there.
Merrit comes in to understand the current state, identify the friction, and design a practical operating structure around the work.
What we’ll do:
We’ll begin with a deep-dive into the business, team, current workflows, priorities, and upcoming initiatives. From there, Merrit will identify where work is getting stuck, where ownership is unclear, what systems are missing, and what needs greater visibility.
Engagement may include:
Current-state workflow assessment
Founder + team discovery
Priority and initiative mapping
Roles and ownership clarification
Process and workflow design
Master project or launch roadmap
Milestone and dependency mapping
Risk and bottleneck identification
Meeting and communication cadence
Custom operating tracker or dashboard
Recommendations for tools, systems, and next steps
What you get:
You leave with a working operating system designed around how your business actually functions: a clearer view of what’s happening, who owns what, what happens next, and how the team keeps work moving.
Best for: Founder-led businesses experiencing growth, operational friction, unclear workflows, or a period of transition.
Engagement structure: Defined project-based engagement.
The shift:
“Everything is living in my head.” → “We have a clear way forward.”
-
You bring the idea. Merrit builds the path to execution.
This offer is for the initiative that needs to happen-but has too many moving pieces for the founder to personally orchestrate.
Merrit steps in as the operational lead behind the work, translating the vision into a production plan and driving that plan through execution.
What we’ll do:
We begin with the end goal and work backward. What needs to be true on launch day? What needs to happen three months before that? What needs to happen this week so the next milestone stays on track? Merrit builds and owns the master roadmap connecting every workstream involved.
Support may include:
Project scope and objective definition
Master production timeline
Detailed workback schedule
Milestones and critical deadlines
Roles, responsibilities, and ownership
Cross-functional coordination
Creative and marketing handoffs
Vendor and external partner coordination
Photoshoot or content-production planning
Meeting agendas and status meetings
Approval tracking
Decision management
Risk and dependency tracking
Follow-ups and accountability
Launch-readiness planning
Real-time troubleshooting and problem solving
What you get:
You retain ownership of the vision and the expertise of your creative partners.
Merrit holds the operational picture connecting all of it.
We are not replacing your designer, marketer, photographer, PR team, agency, or other specialists.
We make sure all the people can work together toward the same outcome.
Best for: Brands preparing for a launch, campaign, shoot, event, collaboration, new offering, opening, or other complex initiative.
Engagement structure: Typically a defined 6–12+ week production engagement based on scope and complexity.
The shift:
“I know what I want to create, but I don't know how we're going to pull all of this off.” → “There is a plan, someone owns it, and we know exactly where we stand.”

Your behind-the-scenes partner for everything that's moving. The Embedded Creative Operations Partnership is designed for growing founder-led brands that no longer need help managing one project.
They need someone helping them manage the movement of the business itself.
The founder has ideas. The team is capable. Opportunities are growing.
But launches, campaigns, partnerships, shoots, events, new offerings, internal projects, and future priorities are all happening simultaneously—and too much of the coordination still sits with the founder.
Merrit embeds into the business as a fractional creative operations and production partner.
Think of the role as somewhere between a Head of Creative Operations, Executive Producer, strategic project lead, and founder-side operator.
What we’ll do
First, we create visibility across the business.
What’s happening now? What’s coming next? What’s six months away—but requires action today?
Then we establish an operating rhythm that keeps those priorities moving without requiring the founder to personally chase every detail.
Support can include:
Master initiative and launch calendar
Quarterly and monthly priority planning
Creative project roadmaps
Launch and campaign production
Photoshoot and content-production coordination
Special projects
Events and collaborations
Partnership initiatives
Cross-functional project management
Team and external-partner coordination
Weekly operating meetings
Milestone and dependency management
Decision and approval tracking
Risk identification and escalation
Workflow and process improvement
Custom trackers and operating dashboards
Documentation and SOP development
Resource and capacity visibility
Future-state planning
The operating rhythm
Our work isn't limited to asking:
“What needs to get done this week?”
We continually zoom between three views:
NOW
What is actively moving? What is blocked? What requires a decision?NEXT
What’s approaching over the next several weeks, and what needs to begin now?LATER
What’s coming next quarter or beyond—and what dependencies, decisions, or handoffs need to happen today to protect that future timeline? That ability to move between present execution and future planning is at the center of the partnership.
